A Russian mother opened a homemade organic dumplings business in Dubai during the pandemic—and it’s flourishing today for good reason.
Yulia Belal is the Russian founder of Organic Dumplings Dubai, a licensed business that she runs from her very own kitchen which has become a dumplings incubator of sorts! While she started out making dumplings she’d grown up with in Russia, pelmeni and vareniki, Dubai’s multi-cultural audience started asking her to make dumplings from other cultures. Her online menu now boasts a vast array of options, including Chinese dumplings, Central Asian manty, gluten-free options and even pies and pancakes.
Tune in to hear our chat with Yulia as she describes the interconnected world of dumplings she lives in, and how best to enjoy them.
